Ad Exchange: Summer 2025 Reporting Update

We're simplifying your Ad Exchange reporting experience. With our upcoming Summer release, you'll soon be able to view performance across web, CTV, and mobile app all in one place.

What’s Coming:

Unified reporting is coming soon. We’re combining web, CTV, and mobile app reporting into a single location.

This update will simplify data access and provide a clearer view of performance across today’s multi-platform media landscape.

Who This Affects:

These changes apply to publishers monetizing web, CTV, or mobile app inventory through the Sovrn Exchange.

What To Expect During The Update:

Revenue and impression totals won’t change, but if you monetize across multiple formats, you may see slight variations in metrics like fill rate.

You may notice:

  • Slight metric variations during the update

  • Differences if your reporting is segmented by platform

We recommend using the Advertising Reporting API for the most consistent data. Need a new API key? Create one in the Sovrn Platform

Invoices and essential platform functionalities will not be affected. You will continue to receive accurate earnings data and timely payments.

What’s Not Changing:

  • All core metrics and earnings will still be available

  • Historical data access remains unchanged

  • API access and exports are fully supported

Key Dates:

  • August 2025: Unified reporting will be live across all accounts. No action required on your end.

FAQs:

  • What happens to reporting data when Sovrn serves as a demand source for Google OB and Amazon TAM?

    • Reporting for Google OB and Amazon TAM will remain unchanged and continue to be available in the Sovrn platform.

  • Will invoicing be affected?

    • No. There are no changes to invoicing or payments from Sovrn or Google.

  • What alternatives exist to dashboard reporting?

  • Why aren’t fill rates shown for CTV and mobile app formats?

    • Ad request counts for CTV and mobile app formats are not currently (as of July 2025) included in the fill rate calculations. These metrics will become available once the unified reporting update is complete and live.
