The Sovrn Ad Exchange supports display (banner) and video ad formats across web, connected TV (CTV), and mobile app environments. Sovrn's OpenRTB implementation accepts both banner and video impression opportunities in the bid request.
Display (banner) formats
Sovrn supports standard display banner inventory on the Ad Exchange. In Sovrn's oRTB specification, a banner opportunity is described with the Banner object, which carries the width and height of the placement and an array of allowed sizes (the Format object).
Video formats
Sovrn supports video inventory on the Ad Exchange, described with the Video object in the oRTB request. Sovrn accepts key video signals including MIME types, minimum and maximum duration, player dimensions, placement type (placement / plcmt), start delay for pre-roll, mid-roll, or post-roll, and playback method. For CTV specifically, Sovrn also supports video ad pods.
CTV and mobile app inventory
Sovrn supports display and video inventory in connected TV (CTV) and mobile app environments, though CTV and mobile app support is not yet available to all publishers. Eligible publishers can integrate this inventory via oRTB and other supported paths.
Formats Sovrn does not support
Sovrn does not support audio inventory on the Ad Exchange at this time.
