No. Sovrn does not allow child-directed content on the Ad Exchange. Any domain or app bundle geared toward children is not eligible for monetization on Sovrn.
Sovrn's policy on child-directed inventory
Sovrn prohibits child-directed inventory in order to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and FTC guidance. Sovrn evaluates whether a property is child-directed using the FTC's multi-factor criteria — including subject matter, visual and audio style, use of child-oriented characters, language complexity, and audience data. Properties determined to be child-directed cannot be monetized through the Sovrn Ad Exchange.
How Sovrn handles a COPPA signal in the bid request
Sovrn also enforces COPPA at the individual bid request level. If a COPPA signal is passed as true for a given bid request, Sovrn will drop that bid request rather than attempt to monetize it. This ensures that requests flagged as subject to COPPA are never offered to demand on the exchange.
What to do if your property was misclassified
If your property was denied as child-directed but you believe it was misclassified, you can request a re-review. Gather evidence that your content is not directed to children and share it with Sovrn Support. For the full child-directed criteria and remediation guidance, see My application/bundle was denied.
