Can I get a report breakdown of my IVT traffic clawback?

Sovrn is not able to provide a domain- or bundle-level breakdown of IVT (Invalid Traffic) clawbacks. IVT adjustments are reported to Sovrn in aggregate by our downstream demand partners, and those partners do not consistently provide the granular detail that would be required to attribute clawbacks to specific inventory sources.

Where can I find IVT adjustment information?

You can view your IVT traffic payment adjustments in the Sovrn platform under Payments & Invoices. This section will reflect any adjustments applied to your earnings as a result of IVT findings — though the line-item detail available is limited to what our demand partners share with us.

Why can't Sovrn provide more detail?

Sovrn sits between you and the demand partners who purchase your inventory. When a demand partner identifies IVT after the fact and issues a clawback, they report the adjustment to Sovrn — but that report typically does not include a breakdown by individual domain or bundle. Because Sovrn doesn't originate these findings, we can only pass along what we receive.

In general, to maintain the security of our network and the quality of the traffic we send our demand partners, sharing domain- and bundle-level reporting can pose a substantial risk to bad actors attempting to mitigate our security systems in place. This is an industry standard expectation.
