Site Settings in Commerce
How do I add a site to my account?
To add a site, click here and click + Site.
Follow the instructions to create your new site. Once created, your site will be listed under "Pending" and enter an automated review process. Once you start generating clicks, our Network Quality team will review your site within a few business days.
When and why should I add additional sites to my account?
Segmenting your traffic has numerous benefits, including:
Proper tracking and attribution in your account
Correct classification of content for each of your sites
Maintaining compliance with Sovrn?s Network Quality standards
Providing required transparency to partnered merchants and networks
For more explanation, read Traffic Segmentation in Commerce.
Can I remove a site from my account?
Sovrn Commerce's system does not allow sites to be removed. This is to maintain a record of your approval status history with sites you've submitted. Our support team has the ability to archive sites if you would like to remove them from your dashboard. Reach out to support@sovrn.com with the name of the domain/campaign that you would like archived from your platform.
Archiving will remove the domain/campaign from appearing in your Create Links and Site Settings. Please note that any revenue generated from a previously approved archived domain may still appear in your dashboard, but not be tied to any domain unless the campaign is unarchived.
Where can I find the Commerce JavaScript code for my site?
On the row for each Pending or Approved site, you'll see an < > icon. Click on the icon to see the JavaScript for your site.
This code contains an API key which is unique to each site, so make sure you're installing the correct code to the correct site.
You cannot use this method of installation if your site is a social media site. For social media, please use a Create Link instead.
If you need the code for a Denied site, please reach out to Sovrn Support.
How do I find the API key for my site?
Both your API key and your secret key can be found here. Click on the "key" icon to reveal the keys for each of your sites.
This will reveal a page with your site's API key and an option to generate a secret key (which will allow you to use some of our API tools).
Note: When using the secret key for API tools such as Postman, remember to use the word "secret" along with your key. That is, "secret 1234" rather than just "1234".
