Payment Term Changes in Ad Exchange

FAQs regarding changes in payment terms for Ad Exchange.

Effective September 1, 2022, Sovrn Exchange earnings will be paid Net 45 days. That means for September earnings, you will receive payment on November 15.

Why are my payment terms changing? 

Payment terms are changing to better align when Sovrn receives payments from our demand partners.

When are my payment terms changing? 

For Exchange, starting with September 2022 earnings, Publishers will move to Net 45 payment terms (i.e September earnings paid on November 15).

What product and service offerings are impacted?

Only Sovrn Ad Exchange earnings payment terms are changing at this time. No other product line is changing. 

How do these payment terms compare to others in the industry? 

Sovrn still remains competitive in the market and pays faster than almost all partners. 

Will I need to sign a new agreement?

On September 1, 2022, you will receive a prompt to accept Sovrn new Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) on the Sovrn Platform. This prompt will be for new payment terms.

What if I have a negotiated written agreement (outside of Sovrn standard T&Cs)?

Negotiated agreements outside of our standard T&Cs, will take precedent. We will forward an amendment for the payment term changes that will need to be signed. 

Is there the option to get paid faster? 

Yes, Sovrn offers an InstantPay service in which you can be paid your Ad 30-SeExchange or Ad Management earnings on a Net 5 basis. You will need to sign a short Instant Pay addendum. Fees for this service are as follows:
