Versions in Ad Management

Version Options

Every RTP File is assigned a unique Version ID to identify it. The Version Name can be changed, but the Version ID cannot. There are two types of Versions:

  • Live Version - the file(s) that is currently live on the site.

Note: a publisher can have more than 1 live version if a split test is running.

  • Working Version - a non-live version. Used to make changes that will not affect the live site in real-time. When the Working Version is Pushed Live, it will become the Live Version and the current Live Version will be deactivated.

Best Practice

Save changes as you go. If the page is closed, crashes, or is refreshed, unsaved changes will be lost.
